- Identify the gaps in care for patients with DME and create tools to help bridge these gaps
- Describe the individualized approach to diabetes management as outlined in the Canadian Diabetes Association 2013 clinical practice guidelines
- Discuss the most up-to-date clinical trial data for anti-VEGF use in the treatment of DME
- Better leverage the key roles played by family physicians, endocrinologists and ophthalmologists in the management of DME
