Six tips for navigating the new online program

You may have noticed that there were major changes to the 2018 COS Annual Meeting online program. New this year, COS has implemented the use of an event management system to ensure that up-to-date program details are always available. Listed below are some program navigation pro tips to help you find the information you need.

  1. All program details are included in the program at a glance
All the information you need to plan your learning is still available. We have replaced multiple pages, such as the Symposia page, with a comprehensive and easy to navigate program at a glance.

  2. Use filters to see the program items relevant to you first
By clicking on “show filters” just below the event dates, you will see three different program filter options:

    • Tracks: The tracks filter breaks down the program by subspecialty or learning type. By selecting a track, all program items tagged with that track will appear. In this regard, you can quickly navigate to subspecialty items, allied health, co-developed symposia and more.
    • Item types: Find social events and navigate to special learning opportunities using the item type filter.
    • Location: Easily sort the program by room or venue using the location filter.
  3. Find specific sessions using the search bar
Use the search function to find specific sessions by title.

  4. Sort the program by day
Navigate directly to each daily schedule by clicking on the desired date at the top of the page.

  5. Discover session and presentation details
As always, you can select a session to view the learning objectives, speakers, session agenda and/or description. New this year, you can read abstracts and talk descriptions by selecting the talk title in the agenda.

  6. See presentation schedules and speaker biographies
Within a session, click on any presenter to view their biography and a list of their presentations.

The most up to date program information is always at your fingertips. Download the free Grenadine Event Guide app from Google Play or the App Store and input the event code “COS2018” to access the 2018 program, speakers and more, right from your phone.
