In 1971, Bausch & Lomb introduced the first soft contact lenses and is still the largest global provider of eye care products. Although products and times have changed, Bausch & Lomb still adheres to the legacy of dedication to innovation, quality, and craftsmanship established by John Jacob Bausch and Henry Lomb.

Canadian Blind Sports is a national network of 9 provincial member organizations that provide sport and recreation programming for Canadians who are blind or visually impaired. We organize Canada's National Goalball competitions, Paralympic Goalball Teams, coaching educating programs, and facilitate the sports classification system for athletes who are blind or visually impaired through a network of ophthalmologists.

Classification is the process where an athlete's level of vision is evaluated by a team of ophthalmologists so that athletes compete against others with a similar degree of disability. Canadian Blind Sports needs to recruit interested ophthalmologists; especially those of you specialize in low vision, to become classifiers across the country.
