COS and Affiliated Societies to Meet in Toronto
in 2001
The tremendous success of the Annual Meeting in Whistler has challenged the Council on CPD to develop yet another quality educational program for next year’s meeting, scheduled for Toronto, June 21-24 at the Westin Harbour Castle.

Twelve dynamic guest speakers have been confirmed to date. They will present talks of interest to the comprehensive ophthalmologist and to the sub-specialty groups, which meet each year following the Current Concepts Symposium. This year the Canadian Retina Vitreous Society will be featured as part of the plenary session with additional topics of interest to the general ophthalmologist.

The meeting outline is presented separately with registration information. You are encouraged to mark your calendar for this popular and well-attended event. The social program will include the annual Fun Run, golf and tennis tournaments and a special evening featuring the “Sapori d’Italia Gala” dedicated to the flavours of Italy, with wonderful entertainment provided throughout the event.

Register early for the meeting and especially the hotel to guarantee your preferred accommodation at the negotiated discount rate.
