Duncan Anderson was elected as Chair of the Council on Continuing Professional Development (CPD), formerly CME, replacing Sherif El-Defrawy, who completed a 3-year term. Dr. Anderson is Chairman of Neuro-Ophthalmology at the University of British Columbia and Director of Ophthalmology at St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver, BC. This new position is appropriate for Dr. Anderson as he was until recently the COS representative to the Royal College Ophthalmology Committee. He will assume principal responsibility for the development of the Maintenance of Certification program for the COS.
