The objectives of the workshops are to discuss how recent research can influence current clinical practice in orthoptics. Emphasis will be on learning diagnostic and management to further improve clinical application and skills in the field of orthoptics.

Objectives
At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
  • Discuss the diagnosis of ocular motility and vision disorders related to non-ocular conditions
  • Evaluate research in the field of orthoptics and how it may integrate into clinical practice
  • Describe recent developments in the management of amblyopia and strabismus
  • Incorporate knowledge gained from strabismus case studies into daily clinical practice
