Job Summary

Well established solo practice looking for a like minded cornea specialist to join. Practice has 3 autorefractor/subjective refractors, OPD, OCT, Pentacam, Oculyser, IOLMaster 700, HVF, Specular Microscopy, Slit lamp camera/video, Accuro EMR, Peridata, 2 screener rooms, 3 fully equipped exam lanes in its own dedicated building, which also houses a private cataract suite and Refractive Suite with Wavelight EX500 and Femtosecond laser. Full range of tertiary care cornea is provided, in addition to general ophthalmology and glaucoma surgery. Candidate must have FRCSC designation and at least a one year cornea fellowship training. Kelowna General Hospital has a dedicated outpatient ophthalmology centre wtih 3 surgical retina, 1 glaucoma, 1 oculoplastics, 2 pediatric, 1 general (surgical), 1 neuroophthalmology, and one general (medical) ophthalmology colleagues in Kelowna. On call shared with Penticton, amounts to one in 10. Teaching as part of UBC available (all colleagues part of the teaching program). Locum work available prior to any commitment.
